IRB Flag Retirement Ceremony |
Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony - June - To promote American Heritage and provide a Community service, the City of Indian Rocks Beach hold an annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at Kolb Park. This ceremony allows residents and guests to honorably disposing of worn United States Flags. Worn U.S. Flags may be burned or buried with honor and dignity. So if you have a tattered or torn U.S. Flag, this is your opportunity to retire it respectfully. This is a free event.

Indian Rocks Beach Fest - April - Come out and Enjoy BeachFest!! Listen to live local bands and indulge in food and beverages from local restaurants. Have fun and play games at the 2nd annual BeachFest… PLACE: Indian Rocks Beach County Park, 1700 Gulf Blvd. (across from Guppy’s) ON THE BEACH! NO COOLERS OR DOGS ALLOWED. Presented by the Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association and the City of Indian Rocks Beach. IRB Oktoberfest |
Oktoberfest on the Beach - October - This Festival is usually held somewhere around the second week of October at Kolb Park (across from City Hall-15th Ave.) and runs from 11 AM until 7 PM with continuous music (live German band) and all day food-drinks and fun, fun fun! The festival includes a Kinderfest, Stein Carrying Championship, Wife carrying contest, Keg Throwing Contest, Polka Dancing Contest and a Silent Auction. Food & drinks available for purchase (no coolers allowed). All proceeds go back to the community for special projects and improvements. Free admission! Taste of IRB |
Taste of IRB - November - Come out and enjoy great food, music and fun for the Annual Taste of IRB each November at Chic-A-Si Park featuring food from a variety of local restaurants, beer, wine, soda and water. Bring beach chairs and/or blankets and spend the evening listening to great music, sampling the best fare the beach has to offer, and partying with good friends and neighbors. Look forward to seeing everyone there! ADMISSION: FREE! EVERYONE INVITED! PLACE: Chic-a-Si Park (across from the Post Office) COOLERS & DOGS ARE PROHIBITED PARKING: Street parking available or FREE shuttle pick up & parking on 16th Avenue at Calvary Church. CITY DOCKS: Come by boat and enjoy the City’s docks at Keegan Clair Park a few steps south of the event!

Holiday Tree Lighting - December - The City of Indian Rocks Beach hold a tree lighting event each winter holiday season. This event is held in December and usually includes hot chocolate and holiday themed music. All are invited and admission is free.

IRB Holiday Boat Parade |
Holiday Lighted Boat Parade - December - The IRB Holiday Lighted Boat Parade is held in December of each year. Local boat owners cover their boats in holiday lights and play holiday music from their vessels. The boats proceed through the intercoastal waterways of Indian Rocks Beach and are judged on several criteria with an opportunity to win prizes for their decorating efforts at the end of the evening. This is a free event and all are welcome.

IRB Holiday Street Parade |
Holiday Street Parade - December - The City of Indian Rocks Beach hosts a city-wide Holiday Street Parade each year which includes local merchants, small floats and holiday music. The parade runs through the neighborhood streets of the City and Parade participants often throw candy, dog biscuits , ad specialties, and beads to the attendees along the parade route.. So bring your lawn chairs , children, and your canine companions, and enjoy the IRB Street Parade. This event is held during the month of December, all are invited and attendance is free.

IRB Pumpkin Carving |
Pumpkin Carving & Haunted House for Children - October This event usually takes place at the IRB City Hall Auditorium and is geared toward children 12 years and under. There are pumpkin carving activities, face painting, and a haunted house for the children to enjoy.

IRB Community Garage Sales |
IRB Community Garage Sales - Fall & Spring - If you love a bargain, then this event is for you! Twice per year the residents of IRB have the opportunity to participate in the City-Wide garage sale without having to obtain a permit. These sales are usually held the weekend after Easter and the weekend after Thanksgiving each year. Residents generally take advantage of the sale in a big way by clearing out their clutter, treasures and everything in-between (including the kitchen sink). Treasure seekers come from all of the surrounding areas to shop for bargains in Indian Rocks Beach. The sale usually starts on Saturday between 7 AM or 8 AM. Don't miss it!
